thank you for your interest in booking a tattoo with me
my name is kira (they/them), and I live and work in so-called vancouver, on the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. my studio is located along the Drive, up a flight of stairs. I wear a mask while working, and I will ask you to do the same
project information:
* see the flash highlight on my instagram for projects available to tattoo.
I am also open to hearing your custom requests, and have an interest in incorporating more freehand processes into my practice (drawing directly onto the skin)
* designs are flexible to scale up from their suggested size, though nothing I draw will tattoo well at less than 4". note that many flash designs are repeatable -- if it is important to you that your design has been/will be tattooed only once, please mention this in your request!
fee structure:
* I charge flat fees per project, and do not have a strict hourly rate (I feel this alleviates any felt pressure to rush). most pieces that I tattoo run from 2 - 4 hours to complete, and prices typically range from 250 - 500 for medium-sized pieces. I am often able to accommodate budgets and offer sliding-scale pricing.
* experimental, complex, and multi-session projects will have varying budgets -- I am happy to discuss this with you on a case-by-case basis.
note that I will collect a $100 deposit upon booking — this secures your appointment & goes towards the final cost of your tattoo.
